September 10, 2001, Irvine, CA - Read Technologies, Inc. announced today the availability of the patent-pending "RSWeb" technology, a revolutionary new B2B web content generation service. RSWeb allows product Manufacturers (Suppliers, Distributors) to automate the process of providing Resellers (Dealers, Franchisees) with web content for the products to be sold on the Reseller's website.

Resellers need timely and accurate web content to drive more traffic to their website; and to get more customers ready to buy. Manufacturers create the best web content on their products, but often can't sell online because of potential conflict with Resellers. RSWeb allows Manufacturers and Resellers to establish a set of Rules Profiles that automates what web content is available and how it can be modified. 

RSWeb starts by retrieving new and/or updated content from a predetermined set of web pages located on the Supplier's web server. Second, RSWeb modifies each web page by following the Rules Profiles created on the behalf of the Supplier and Reseller. Then, RSWeb integrates the modified web pages into templates containing the Reseller's look, feel, and navigational aids. Finally, RSWeb delivers and installs the newly generated web content directly on the Reseller's own web server. 

Until now, if a Reseller wanted to provide customers with detailed, up to date product information, then the Reseller would be forced to either: 1) Recreate the Supplier's collateral marketing material into web form (demanding the reseller spend huge amounts of time); or 2) Frame or Link to the Supplier's website (requiring the customer to leave the reseller's website). With RSWEB, all that has changed!
