OPERATIONS CENTER
Important events and error messages can be seen instantly on the graphical Enterprise Console during the day while, out of hours, on-call personnel can be notified immediately by text messages sent to their mobile phones or pagers, or by email, using the Message Communicator. Comprehensive filters available with all the monitors provide specific, generic and global options and mean all the important issues are dealt with immediately. Escalating actions can be taken to cope with any situation. These include replying to inquiry messages, executing any command, calling a program, forwarding a message, displaying a pop-up alert window to notify users, sending an email or text message. Messages can be sent to other types of systems and servers using SNMP traps.

NETWORK SERVER SUITE

View alerts generated by any of the Halcyon iSeries 400 and PC monitors on a single graphical PC console. Replies can be given to inquiry messages and alerts closed from the central console. MESSAGE COMMUNICATOR
The Halcyon Message Communicator for the iSeries 400 interfaces with all the key Halcyon iSeries 400 products. Sends out text messages to mobile phones and pagers and includes a 2-way SMS facility enabling replies and commands to be sent back to the iSeries 400 directly from your mobile phone. Messages can also be sent as emails. For ultimate flexibility, Escalation Lists, Broadcast Group, Schedules and Rotas can be set up so that messages get sent to the appropriate on-call personnel.

MESSAGE MANAGER
The Halcyon Message Manager monitors any message from any queue, including the QHST Message Log, and helps you stay in control of any situation, whether it is by alerting you to impending disaster, such as suspension of disk mirroring or imminent disk failure, or by informing you that a time-critical job has not yet finished. Includes comprehensive message filters and automatic actions.

SYSTEM EVENT MANAGER
The Halcyon System Event Manager monitors a diverse range of iSeries 400 objects and events where messages are not generated. The status of various objects and devices such as job queues and printers can be monitored and action taken if the wrong status is encountered.Includes comprehensive filtering so that only your pre-defined error conditions are actioned.

HA-MX MONITOR
The Halcyon HA-MX Monitor allows you to monitor the status of your MIMIX® processes, alerting you to any problems as they occur and reporting when the problems have been resolved.
Within each type, multiple filters can be created which will allow you to have separate filters for each data group.

INACTIVTY MANAGER
The Halcyon Screen Inactivity Manager closes a system security loophole and helps to prevent unauthorised users tampering with company data.
These days users are called upon to do more tasks with greater speed and very often they get called away from their screens at short notice. Others simply forget to sign off when going to lunch or taking a coffee break.
As a consequence, your users are leaving the door wide open to potential security breaches and your systems are at risk from unauthorised data access, or worse, data sabotage.

JOB SCHEDULER
Functionally rich yet very easy to use iSeries Job Scheduler. The Halcyon Job Scheduler's advanced design incorporates some important features not found in other Job Schedulers. Any type of scheduling pattern is possible either by using the standard calendar features, third party calendars or by a user program using the Job Scheduler's unique calendar parameters. Jobs can be submitted to different iSeries 400s and even to PCs and the jobs will also be tracked on those machines. Multiple dependencies allow a job to be conditioned on the status of other Halcyon Job Scheduler jobs, either on the local iSeries 400 or on networked ISeries 400's.

RECORD AND PLAYBACK
Use the Halcyon Record and Playback for the iSeries 400 when jobs are either run interactively, or interactive screens have to be processed before a job can be submitted to the job queue. Record all the keystrokes (including Function and Enter Keys) necessary to submit a job and playback the sequence automatically within a Job Scheduler. Run-time variables also catered

PERFORMANCE MANAGER
The Halcyon Performance Manager for the iSeries 400 provides accurate and up-to-the-minute performance statistics and trends. Any number of iSeries 400s can be monitored - you can even monitor each iSeries 400 during different time periods and record performance at different snapshot intervals if required. If a performance alert occurs on any monitored iSeries 400, you can set the Halcyon Performance Viewer to automatically launch on your PC (with or without sound/voice message), thereby bringing the alert to your attention. Various other automatic actions can also be performed. Service Level Report Wizard also included for you to print either standard reports or your own fully customized reports.

DISK SPACE MANAGER
The Halcyon Disk Space Manager for the iSeries 400 can greatly assist in tidying up forgotten files, out-of-date test libraries, old spool files, Office documents etc., helping to avoid unnecessary disk upgrades. Files containing excessive deleted records can be automatically re-organised at any time to suit you. Use the Halcyon Disk Space Manager to highlight objects that are not being saved on a regular basis.

SPOOL FILE MANAGER
The Halcyon Spool Manager for the iSeries 400 provides the perfect solution to spool file distribution and archiving. Comprehensive, real-time, spool file monitoring and filtering options can automatically override spool file attributes without any need for program changes. Spool files can also be distributed automatically based on information contained within report titles. Spool files can be saved to and restored from near-line or off-line storage using the easy-to-use archiving facilities. This is particularly beneficial during a system upgrade, so that spool file entries are not overlooked and lost. Export Spool Files to PDF and HTML format for electronic transfer.

RESTRICTED TASKS MANAGER
Schedule, or submit to a job queue, any number of restricted state functions, such as SAVSYS, SAVLIB(*NONSYS) and RCLSTG to be executed in a completely unattended environment. Monitor and answer messages during restricted state and optionally notify personnel by pager or SMS text completion and error messages.
